CODE OF CONDUCT
The Fantasy Network strives to be a welcoming environment to all people, and we expect creators, members, and fans to support this initiative. In an ideal world, no further code of conduct would be necessary for Fantasy Network events and communities other than “Be Excellent to One Another.” Unfortunately, the world we live in is not ideal, and misunderstandings and abuses of power do happen.
In the interests of preventing as many of those as possible, and providing an avenue of redress for the rest, TFN offers the following SAFE SPACE POLICY, CODE OF CONDUCT, and REPORTING HARASSMENT resources for all members.
Need to SEND A REPORT? Please use the form at the bottom.

SAFE SPACE POLICY
We want you to not only have the most amazing fan experience ever, but to do so in an environment where you are safe and accepted. As fans ourselves, we understand the importance of creating a safe space for everyone in TFN’s community. Therefore,
TFN has ZERO TOLERANCE for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:
- Offensive verbal comments
- Physical assault and/or battery
- Non-consensual photography/recording
- Sustained disruption of panels, signings, and other events, digitally or in person
- Bathroom policing
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Sustained unwelcome attention
- Sealioning and associated trolling
- Noncompliance with safety protocols
- Abuse of this code in order to bully or pursue a vendetta
TFN has ZERO TOLERANCE for harassment of any kind, especially on the basis of, but not limited to:
- National origin, citizenship, and/or immigration status
- Gender, gender identity, and gender presentation
- Sexual orientation
- Body size
- Compliance with safety protocols
- Socio-economic status
If a community member engages in harassing behavior, TFN staff reserves the right to take prompt action in any form they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from TFN events or communities with no refund. Our Anti-Harassment policy applies to EVERYONE at events, in our online communities, or any space that we administrate. Nobody in our spaces is exempt from our Anti-Harassment Policy.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Tolerance for each other is based on a mutual social contract to live and let live. Participation in TFN events is open to anyone who can participate in that social contract. We consider harassment, hate speech, and other actions which undermine our social contract as acts that will not be tolerated: those committing them are considered to have chosen not to abide by our social contract and will be banned from our spaces. For example, if we invite someone to the table who then declares that their intention to light the table on fire and flip it over, the person making those threats or taking those actions will be held accountable for their choices.
We also understand that people have strong opinions about the media they love, and appreciate your passion for works of sci-fi and fantasy. It’s our bread and butter, after all! However, we do ask that your discussions with others in our spaces be conducted without vitriol and animosity. While there is no expectation that fans in our spaces agree on everything, please keep debate friendly and end conversations before they devolve; those who are unable to agree to disagree in peace may be removed from our spaces.
While TFN encourages open discussion in our spaces, that courtesy does not extend to advocacy for eliminationist (racist, fascist, Nazi, genocidal) policies, as those perspectives are not only in violation of our code of conduct, but are considered acts of incitement and violence that we will report to appropriate authorities.
Anyone can report harassment. If someone’s behavior has made you uncomfortable, or if you witness the same happening to someone else, you should immediately contact TFN staff. We will honor confidentiality, personal privacy, and listen to your concerns without judgment or bias.
If necessary, we will contact local law enforcement, provide escort, expel violators, offer a safe place, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to make sure they feel safe at TFN events and in TFN spaces.
