If there was ever a flawless summary of why we all play the game, this is it. In thirty years of roleplaying I’ve been at this point, where everything converges to a flawless climax, maybe half a dozen times, and every time it was worth the wait. This captures the moment perfectly.
Like the whole second season this was brilliantly written, brilliantly played, brilliantly filmed. I think I’ve watched this for the fifth time now, between here and Youtube, and it still made me feel with the characters every little bit like the first time. This includes shedding a few tears, I’m not ashamed to say.
