The team got Fidditch back safely to the office. Sam slips him a truth serum and the whole sordid story comes out at once. Or at least, as much as Fidditch knows of it. The team splits up as Sam heads to a rendezvous with a lady. The rest of the team goes uptown to Fidditch’s apartment. Someone else has been there first, however – could it be the French gentleman with the slick moustache?

Sam returns to his office and finds an impossible crime scene. Meanwhile, something is coming for the rest of the team. What will happen to them now?
