After the failed dispensary heist, Sirius, Junior, and James  retreat to an abandoned alley to figure out the next move.  Suddenly, Gloria Lee, Sirius’ wife and Junior’s mom from 1980 shows up and rescues Sirius, James, and Junior from being caught by the police. They retreat to her laboratory where Gloria explains how she ended up in modern day Oakland…through and elaborate electro-funk rap song. She then reveals that she’s the one who uncovered the time capsule which contains Sirius’ time dilator.
