Story:7-it was a classic DnD tale,i think it would’ve done well as a series.Albeit there was some parts i couldn’t make sense of.
Design:8-the sets were very good and the costumes weren’t half bad,all in all it is a very pretty film.
Action:6-got plenty of action, fights were well scripted.Although the swordplay and camerawork struggled at points.
Effects:6-magic spells and other effects looked nice, while others were weak sound effects and the nice ones got repetitive. But the super spells at the 3rd act were really nice. Also good job on the low budget monster(and thats not a knock, many movies like this have one),the dark lighting really helped that monster scene.
Editing:3-so many bad cuts, camera lingers and too zoomed in.There is parts that lacked a sound effect or music.for example, theres a part where a character is just standing there and then he reacts to a enemy coming but we saw no shot of it coming or heard a twig snap, etc.

I liked this movie. It took me a few tries to finally sit down and watch it but when I did the story kept me there to watch the rest of it. As one viewer said it was a tribute D&D and other such games. Good action, good story. I finally made myself sit down and watch the rest of it. Glad I did. 🙂
