This is one of those shows that strikes a good balance between fantasy and reality. It depicts all the usual tropes that one looks for in this genre of film, but instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, they rely on solid character development to endear the characters to the audience to keep it feeling fresh. The pacing is solid. So much so that I literally wish the episodes were longer so I could spend more time “in” LARPs. The soundtrack is honestly the cherry on the cake too. The intro song is almost like that show Community where after you hear it a few times you begin to like to so much you don’t want to skip past it. I loved S1. Can’t wait to watch S2.

An endearing exploration of Live Action Role-Playing tropes. It is very well written, acted, and produced. I found myself hooked by the humor and storyline within the first couple of episodes, and ended up binging both (currently) seasons. So good and rewatchable.
Fans of other TheFantasy.Network shows will readily welcome LARPs into the family.
